The cargo may be chosen to leave from a major port in China (like Shanghai, Ningbo, or Shenzhen) or other neighboring ports, depending on its origin and destination, and then be transshipped to a major port in Gabon (such Owendo).

Kindly remind:
As of May 20, 2017, the owner requests that replenishment materials be submitted with a valid BIETC number prior to loading in accordance with Gabon Customs regulations. It won't be provided on board if there isn't a BIETC number. The number will become active five days after the ship departs. After going into effect, kindly give the BIETC document to the local customer support office for validation. Only if the verification is deemed authentic can the original bill of lading be received. You will be responsible for paying all customs fines and even the expense of returning the original ship if you do not present valid BIETC paperwork within 5 days of the ship's departure.
Notice of March 2017: Please take note that automobiles older than three years are not allowed to be imported into Gabon; if you do not, you will not be allowed to pass inspection.
