MSC will establish its new German headquarters in Hamburg and double the number of employees.
In September last year, the city of Hamburg and MSC reached an agreement for MSC, owned by the Aponte family, to acquire a minority stake in the German Port and Logistics AG Hamburg (HHLA) as a strategic partner.
Construction of the new headquarters for MSC's German operations is expected to begin in 2026 in the city of Hamburg.
